Week 8

What did you do this past week?

This past week was filled with multiple projects that were all due before spring break. This semester has been very busy, and last week was probably more so than most. My group completed this class’ project last weekend, and I finished up a couple more projects this week before the break.

What’s in your way?

This week, there isn’t anything blocking me. Since it is spring break, I will be using this time to relax, which is something I haven’t had a lot of time to do since the semester started. I do have some projects to work on as well, including this one, but most of my time will be spent relaxing and recovering before ending the semester strong.

What will you do next week?

This week will be a relaxing week. I will work a bit on my projects, but most of my time will be reserved for me. I don’t currently have any big plans for the break, so it will just be relaxing and recharging.

What was your experience of iteration, comprehensions, generators, and digits iterator?

These concepts each prove useful in their own way, and are very important concepts to know. They are something I am familiar with both in Python and in other languages, but the explanation in class helped me understand some more edge cases and different use cases of them. I felt that these will be useful for me moving forward in different aspects of my career, and that I will find knowing about them quite useful in the future.

What made you happy this week?

This week being the last week before spring break was very exciting, as it means that I can finally get some time off. In case you couldn’t tell, I have been very stressed this semester, and this time off is something I have been looking forward to for quite a while.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to enjoy spring break. I know that this year has been stressful for everyone, with the winter storm and Covid-19 and everything else, so take this time off and relax. You’ve definitely earned it.
